Pinto would then sign a bridge deal of 2.5m for 2 years or 2.7m for 3 years. CGY would move out Vladar for room to sign Pinto in which would be COL since they need a backup. OTT gets two god picks and Ruzicka who IMO is still a promising young player even though Sutter scratched him so much after having a solid start to the regular season last year.

Way too much for Pinto. Take out Ruzicka and sure.

Pinto played in nearly twice as many games (82 vs 44) last year but Ruzicka had more PPG (0.45 vs 0.42) in spite of spending most of his time playing lower in the lineup. Ruzicka is a late bloomer (like many athletes his size) we don't really know where his ceiling is yet. This year with new coaches we should get a much better idea of what he's capable of.

Pinto also missed an entire year due to surgery for a serious shoulder injury. That raises big questions about his durability and availability in the future.

It would start with Dustin Wolf, Calgary would say no, and that would end it.

The Colorado part doesn't seem unreasonable if they like Vladar and Francouz is LTIR (CapFriendly doesn't show him as being injured). I don't know Ruzicka well enough to judge the Ottawa part, other than that it would keep them under the cap without having to dump Brannstrom or Joseph.
