Description

Pinto needs to be signed by the Sens.

Kubalik does not fit on the team, he would not be happy here, especially since he does not have a spot on either PP1 or PP2. At this point and rumours being thrown around, take a 7th round pick for Kubalik, the Sens need Pinto as their 3C this season to be a dangerous team. Also, don't trade Batherson, he was the Sens All-Star 2 seasons ago before his ankle injury that affected him into last season.

Joseph also plays an important part by being one of Ottawa's best defensive forwards, great PKer and showed last year he can play well in the top 6 if DJ wants to spread the offence throughout the top 9, instead of stacking the top 6.

I don’t see NSH paying more than that— maybe a conditional 4th that becomes a 3rd if he scores X number of goals. But Trotz already said he’s looking to capitalize on the cap issues of other teams, so I don’t think he’s gonna be giving up a lot in a deal like this.

Would be a good pickup for NSH as he should be an easy player to deal at the deadline with retention.
