There will probably be other pieces involved ...

... but it appears that the cost of dumping Mathieu Joseph on the Flyers is Tyler Boucher.

    We'll see what happens.

Honestly that isn’t a crusher of a deal, Tyler is a decent prospect but hasn’t been lights out, I could see him being a Solid tough depth piece, but nothing that would hurt losing.

Might as well link the actual tweet so people can read what the tweet actually says and not what you’re twisting it to be 😂

I like this for both sides…and for Boucher.

No brainer for Sens. Boucher's ceiling doesn't look to be too high.

I'm not sure. PD is already on the hot seat, and trading away someone he drafted with such a high pick to dump he contract he just gave to Joseph a year ago, will surely be his walking papers and he knows it.

I think Brannstrom has a higher likelihood of going. He hasn't played yet in the preseason, the team has already given him many years to prove himself, and he's being squeezed out by Kleven

Exactly. Joseph has become quite underrated and is a pretty decent 3rd liner, he is actually needed for the bottom-6 and particularly for the PK

If the Flyers demands are high, Dorion doesn't have to cave in

True that he hasn't played yet, precautions for him not getting injured.

I disagree with the insinuation that he not proved himself, he took a GIANT step forward last season, in his 23 y/o season. Also, it's a bit premature to say Kleven has squeezed him out, he might not even be 100% NHL ready.

That said, Sens have a lot of D depth (for the first time in over a decade) so they could afford to trade Brannstrom now... Hopefully they are able to target a good forward prospect
