Lafferty isn’t getting waived.

I don't object to playing Giordano, 18 minutes a night like he did last season. But the silly part about so many of these posts, is having the Leafs going with just six NHL Dmen.
There isn't one Marlie that is NHL capable this season.

He's the one guy that should be waived Leafs enough 800,000 wingers to take his place. Defence not so much

I think Giordano will be the 7th-8th defenseman this season and starts on opening night lineup gets used as the bottom guy but I think he's going to stick around all year until playoffs and most likely not play

Lafferty isn't going on waivers I don't believe so either I think he might play the right side with kpf and Domi I really like that line and I think these guys are a very smart group and have some ties as well to Chicago they are vets it's a nice third line

I think Timmins also doesn't get waived

So with all that something has to happen you can guess what that might be I am not sure what it is but surprisingly I think all the guys mentioned are in the lineup

I thought so a month ago but I think they see him as important especially for his salary much more than all the minimum salary guys like for example Holmberg is good but Lafferty is honestly miles above him in responsible and gritty and I think the team has been shown they do need Lafferty and Timmins almost just as much as they need jarnkrok which means jarnkrok might be the one to go

You can't run a 21-man roster dude. That is a disaster waiting to happen. They pretty much begging to play games with 17 skaters.

Gee, I don't know if Lafferty deserves all that love. But Jarnkrok has 8 team NTC has meaning. Does a team with cap want to take on a 2.1m X 3 year contract for a 31 year old? Yeah, Jarnkrok was full value last season, which was best in the NHL, but he probably might revert to being just another 3rd liner. I thnk he's a tough trade.

Must be nice to put $10mil + on LTIR….
