Ty Smith had far more value at the time of the marino deal so i doubt clague gets it done but Adams shouldve been all over that.

Outside of the draft which is still TBD his work is thoroughly unimpressive considering the urgency of being a team thats missed 13 years in a row.

Although signing luke schenn is not the answer

Ya its not like he acquired Tuch, Krebs, and Levi via trade or anything. Not like he fleeced Philly in the Risto trade and got very good value in the Eichel debacle. He totally wasn't at all responsible for signing Sammy, TT, and Coz to very good long term deals, securing a long window of contention.

Extremely unimpressive that's for sure.

I know you didn't lump Krebs in there like he's on the same level of Tuch and isn't some 4th liner lol. Also that's a mighty impressive return! I wonder what they gave up to get Tuch and friends? Probably nobody important to any teams Stanley cup success.

His contract work is fine. Tage is a steal. Cozens and Dahlin are market value deals. Samuelsson is a third pair d-man on a 7 year deal, I dont understand sabres fans obsession with him. Feels like everyone fell for the old correlation without causation bit when he got injured during that losing streak last year.

It's actually crazy just HOW much better our prospect pool and NHL roster is compared to when KA took over. I remember looking at what we had outside of Eichel and Reino and being incredibly concerned it'd take another 10 years to get the amount of talent needed to be competitive

Its good being optimistic, especially as a sports fan. I would highly encourage you to be more positive about our team and its management. Krebs is a solid player, the depth of our team up front necessitates him being on the 4th line. That was a fantastic return for a guy who openly lambasted the org and was injured. Cozens is currently market value but after this season and beyond will be a steal. Sammy is very important to the team. He still has blunders and has some games where he is not good. But his game brings stability to the team and he is an exceptional leader in the locker room, the team loves his positivity...

I made the mistake of thinking you were a Sabres fan. Feel free to discredit our organization. Hope you like Will Borgen cause he's a beauty

Should we still be optimistic about the team and management or can we start rooting for some kind of ownership coup d'etat? Cause thats about all the positivity i can muster for this dumpster fire org. lol

You can do whatever you'd like since you aren't a Sabres fan anymore. I however will continue rooting for my team through thick or thin. I'm not going to quit on the franchise. I personally don't care either way about management or ownership. They aren't the ones I cheer for
