That's pretty bad for Ottawa in terms of value and the only reason they might have wanted to trade Joseph was to create cap space to sign Pinto, not trade them both in the same deal... I talk in the past because they might not want to trade Joseph at all anymore

All summer and all training camp too, Joseph has made it clear it would be stupid to pay to dump his contract. It's easy to see that he is dialed in to bounce back to at least his previous level (2021-22 he scored 30 ES/PK pts in 69 games while being one of the best PK forwards)
