Well if that’s the case Leon should be on ur list fair enough if u think Mackinnon is better but draisaitl ay 8.5M is the best contract in the league

I would probably take Mack over drasaitl but it’s pretty close Mackinnon is only a little bit better than draisaitl also Petey was way better than matthews last year offensively and defensively

Mack is a complete player... Draisaitl isn't... That makes it obvious... Matthews was also better defensively (led forawards in blockers shots, 56% face-off percentage and more) than Petey and offensively, was playing on 1 wrist... The better debate IMO would have been Drai vs Petey and Mack vs Matthews

Lol settle down and the reason why I’m comparing Drai and Mack is because they are both top 3 players matthews isn’t even a top 5 player right now so what’s the point of even trying to compare that? Also Matthews wasn’t playing on one wrist that’s like saying he sprained or tore something which he didn’t. Matthews has a lot to prove this season imo if he can go back to MVP form he should considered a top 5 player again but as of right now he 100% is not

The NHL ranking doesn't do anything... The truth is Draisaitl isn't a complete player whereas mack and Matthews are... That's why Draisaitl is the number 4/5 best player in the NHL IMO

Matthews is easily a top 3 player... He's better than Drai... And you've not played hockey if you don't know how painful a sprained wrist is to play on... RN, I wouldn't consider Drai a top 5 player bc I value a complete game and not a one timer on the PP... Matthews only had 7 less EV points in 7 less games compared to Drasaitl last year too
