super realistic that detroit would get vancouver's most valuable piece in the history of their franchise and still get to retain their 4 most valuable pieces

1) Vancouver doesn't do that. They would want a quantity of quality. We'd probably start talks with Edvinsson, Mazur, and a 1st.
2) Detroit doesn't do that. Why would we dump a guy we just signed; we haven't even given him a chance to play.
