Garland could be a good medium-term fit in Carolina. Maybe they can offer a late 1st at the deadline.

Zero chance Winnipeg gives up a top 4 RHD for a bottom sixer with a bad contract that has requested a trade. The Jets need Pionk and don't need Garland or his contract.

He would be a great fit, I feel like the highest they’d offer would be a 2nd plus a contract. Just not sure who

If the Jets plan on making the playoffs… which isn’t a guarantee… they need Pionk far more than Garland.
But…can we interest you in Nate Schmidt

The Sabres are still under the impression that jokiharju is a top 4 d. Also, the Sabres are flush with high end forward prospects that are undersized, I'd rather go another way honestly, but the truth is, the Sabres are gonna wanna keep jokiharju.

Calling Garland a bottom sixer just isn’t true. He’s a 50 point, good two way winger. He’s a good second liner

And please keep Pionk. We don’t want a RHD who’s a train wreck defensively, and don’t want his contract either

Garland was offered around with no takers. At 3x 5m he would cost a 2nd+ to dump...
