Team: 2023-24 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 16, 2023
Published: Oct. 16, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Oloffson and joki can pack it up. Jost or Krebs is a very capable plug in with cozens line until quinn is back. Krebs has been very good and deserves a promotion. Ryan Johnson has been phenomenal in the AHL and would be a top 4 on this team, especially over joki. No I dont think any of this happens but go sabres

Personally I would run Clifton with Power and Johnson with Johnson. Having a Johnson & Johnson pairing would be awesome but mostly for handedness and veteran with young guy.

Joker should be fine moving forward, but Olofsson just isn't getting it done on this team, in this system. He's really not fast enough to play in Buffalo's top-9, he doesn't have the intestinal fortitude go to the tough area, nor does he have the knack (and work-ethic) to get to the open spots on the ice (like Benson does.)

I've finally reached that point, take a 2025 third and move on.

Agreed. I think you take whatever for him. He carries value cause of pp scoring but thats it. Jost or krebs would be so much better in that spot until krebs comes back. Hopefully donny does the right move

If you're going to have a J&J line, you might as well reach out and get a new sponsor for some additional revenue stream. Might even get free butterfly bandages and joint braces!

Not a bad idea at all. Not going to lie, as a Detroit fan I was really hoping for a Wallinder Willander pairing. We can still get Johansson and Johansson though.

I'd rather give Biro or Kozak a shot on line 4 than give it to Jost. Agree Krebs should replace Olofsson on the Cozens line. Let Johnson develop a bit more in the AHL. He's only played 2 games

One thing is for certain, Olofsson is the reason 53-72-89 have not scored a goal this season!
While Jokiharju is the reason Clifton allowed Engvall to out race him to a puck along the boards and later kick one in behind Levi.
It is TWO games fellows relax Henri and Victor are Sabre fans favorite scapegoats.
Actually after two games, Henri and Mattias have been the steadiest of the defenders.
ALL of the other four have made bone head plays or were out of position that have cost the team goals and games.

Granato knows best, but I would move Girgensons to center for Olofsson and Okposo and Krebs up to the Cozens line.
You are all correct Victor does not have the speed to keep up with JJ and Dylan.

HAHAHAHAH victor scratched today, rightfully so. He is not a scapegoat, he is bad at hockey and was a 7th round pick for a reason. Cheer on vic from the press box while sabres get their most complete game of the year tonight
