Joseph costs a 1st due to necessity. Players getting moved under duress does not make that the base price.

Oh for sure but he’s overpaid by like $700-800k, Goodrow is overpaid by like $2M and for two extra years lol. Torts is a fan of Hathaway so they overpaid to sign him while we are rebuilding and not up against the cap anyway.

3rd line is probably the best in the league, 4th line is looking VERY good. So what moves should they make? If nothing else they can play the cap game and just go over the cap for the playoffs.

Rangers made a serious move signing Wheeler in the offseason, Rangers do not need any new pieces... Our issue was our 2RW (but it is being filled very nicely by Laf). Gustafsson is looking like a STEAL...

The Rangers aren’t contenders no matter how much you want them to be. Konecny is not a top line player for most teams. We won 1 lottery. Cates hasn't been able to crack the 15 goal mark since he was in the USHL... I am only talking facts. You claiming that your 3rd line is better than our 3rd is illogical. You never addressed the fact that we traded our pieces when they had value, unlike you guys. Konecny had 61 points for the Flyers last year. Trocheck had 64, meaning Trocheck had 3 more points (64-61 = 3). You are trolling the same way you did when you were talking about Joseph in an earlier post.

64 points in 82 games versus 61 points in 60 games. Odds are TK gets 3 more points in 22 more games 😂😂 also you won two lotterys you won 1st in a lottery and won 2nd in the other lottery. Cates is also more of a playmaker than a goalscorer which is why they have TK and Tippett who are 2 goal scorers on his wings. Daily faceoff has all 3 of those guys on different lines… did they play a shift together? Was this last years 3rd line? Did they play a period or 2 in the last game together?

They played together for the majority of last game because Frost has been scratched and Laughton moved into his center role moving him off the 3rd line. Our third line is typically Laughton Cates and any one of TK/Atkinson/Brink/Foerster
