Im not the biggest fan of trading for Garland already, but Jackets should absolutely not be adding a pick to Peeke to make a trade, especially for a player that we dont even want. We can trade Peeke on his own to somewhere else.

Columbus might say yes, but the 4th going the other way is probably a little high. Peeke for Garland at $1M retained feels even to me, so the extra $200,000/year shouldn't cost more than a 6th. That's really digging into stuff that doesn't matter much, though, the base of the trade is just fine.
