    not many teams if any would be willing to pay anything to take on his contract with how poorly hes been defensively. But as a Ott fan a physical defensive dman (larsson, schenn type of player). You aren't getting 8mil worth of return on a chabot trade atm.

    It’s not that he’s not good , he can do a lot of things on the ice . He just struggles to defend

    You guys don’t need Chabot tho. You guys need a RD like Moritz Seider. More of a 2 way guy than an offensive LD

    Chabot should have been moved last year.
    Now it's tough. Sanderson is signed so obviously Chabot is an expendable.
    And no, he can't defend..that's why I don't understand why GMs give guys like him so much money.
    If he continues like this he won't be traded very easily. Pierre Dorion fail

    The card below and the 1st period against Pittsburgh is exactly why you will most likely end up worse if you trade Chabot. Chabot drives offense like not many others. You don't have to defend while you attack...

    Thomas Chabot from the Ottawa Senators is done for the season with a fractured hand. It is big loss for the Senators without any doubt. The best player on the team, he was also one of the best defensemen, maybe even TOP10, in the NHL this season. Elite defenseman.

    First, Greig is untouchable

    Marner isn't worth anything close to that, stop kidding yourself. And that's WITHOUT taking contracts in consideration... He has ONE year left at 11 M$ after the season...

    You want Chabot, which is already a pretty big portion of Marner's value but then 2 firsts on top that?

    And then have the nerves to ask for Greig AND Pinto? Get lost lol
