Devils accepting that in a heartbeat imo. Brendan smith is the biggest weakness we have and this provides us a massive upgrade there and leaves us with enough cap space to make a move if necessary

Can we swap Miller for Smith? Luke slides to his natural side.

Don't see why Arizona would do this, unless Hanifin comes with a long term extension

Chris Tanev will get you a first round pick if the Flames move him. He’s a top four caliber, right handed shut down defenseman, and those are in short supply.

Devils would take that deal in a heartbeat, but i think the devils would throw in smith over miller and maybe add a pick or a propsect.

Only problem is Tanev as a NTC so NJ might be on his no trade team but who know whos on it,

Why would Ottawa do this?

Nino is an upgrade but these 2 players will have hot and cold sequences, still, not a team need. Not a smart way to spend a second round pick. Unfortunately, Dorian has wasted too many picks already, need to be very careful with them.

The need is on defense as of now

I think smith is better in the locker room as a 7th D and gives us a bit more cap space to work with but sure

Eh, Arizona passes. Better off signing Moser as an RFA than risk losing Hanafin in FA.
