Can't see the Hawks doing that. They can go sign a Kyle Palmieri as a UFA without giving picks pretty easily.

He will be 33 next year. That’s a lot of tread off the tire to give up a second rnd pick. I agree w/exo2769, Hawks will go to free agency & keeping their picks.

Hawks decline. They aren't spending an almost certain top 40 pick for one year of a 33 y.o. winger. Even if he does end up scoring 70+ points.

Hawks dont do this but I promise a team will. Maybe not a high 2nd but Palms has played his way to becoming a real solid asset this offseason if we do move him, almost to the point where i dont want to. The season is still young but he has shown a lot of promise and looks like a different player who a team looking for a veteran would really want, and this FA class looks to be weak

Totally agree, they either go UFA or look for another Taylor Hall opportunity, grab a decent vet from a cash strapped team for free.
