I think it's more so the contract coming back that really tanks the value in the trade. I understand money in --- money out, but 3M for 3 years is still money the Flyers can't spend elsewhere. Hart still shows flashes of being the goaltender of the future for the Flyers, just need to solidify the defense. TK's also been off to a hot start and might even improve from last year's campaign. I doubt the Flyers have any interest in moving either of those players unless its for some high end prospects or prime draft picks.

Though trade value could be right, Kovacevic is more valuable to the team than a 5th. Mtl has crazy depth of 5th round and later prospects.
