You were much closer on this one where you just needed to add Bobby McMann: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/4679063

Zadorov retained should bring back a 1st+ on his own as well. Probably not as much as Tanev, but close

Hawks decline. They probably wouldn't spend a 5th on Abruzzese without taking Klingberg.

Abruzzese is probably a bust atp, so they're basically trading a fifth for a contract dump.

Curious why you guys don't like Abruzzese? Please elaborate why you think he doesn't have any value or is a bust already???

He's a 24 year old 4th round pick who isn't even a half point per game in the AHL. He's not going to be an NHL player.

From the Hawks perspective, I don't think Abruzzese has done much to increase his value from the 4th round pick he was originally. He's a solid AHL'er who's ceiling is probably a bottom 6 depth piece, which the Hawks have plenty of already. He's not particularly good in any aspect of the game, and just isn't a guy the Hawks would value or go after in a trade.

Yeah, I figured you guys didn't know much about Abruzzese who went the College route, hence why he's older, yet still Waivers Exempt

Not saying he's anything special or that I expect him to be an impact player, but he's certainly not worthless, a bust or can already be deemed not good enough for the NHL; it's too early to tell just yet and he's already played in the NHL right out of College, which is pretty impressive

He played 9 and 2 games as an emergency callup, not because he was good enough to crack the roster. He left college 2 years ago now, and he's done nothing ever since. Hawks already have a similar guy in Cole Guttman, who they got for free as a college free agent, they don't need to spend a draft pick and take on a garbage contract for another one. Also, unlike Abruzzese, Guttman has dominated the AHL.
