EDM says no to every trade here especially the flyers one holy overpay

Podkolzin has more value than Broberg at this point. The dude is tearing it up in Abby right now, the only reason he isn't up in the show is because of the Canucks roadblock of winger depth right now. Broberg was demoted from an Oilers defense that's been playing AHL-level hockey.

Up the 2nd to a 1st and the hawks might think about it.

Canucks decline. Management is high on Podkolzin and he's been playing great in the AHL. Broberg was a part of the worst defence in the league this year before he was sent down by Edmonton. He has been terrible in his time in the NHL and hasn't shown much of anything. Canucks would rather keep Podkolzin who has already shown promise at both the NHL and AHL levels.

That's the only trade that isn't in EDM favour. The rest get declined easily.

Hawks decline. Oilers don't need to retain on Campbell. But they do need to add a 1st to that package for the Hawks to consider it.
