All teams have their delusional fans, leafs included - a lot of leaf posts really don't help with the anti-leaf narrative on this site.

The real crazies really come out when their team is in a fire sale, they can't think rationally and they think every one of their players are overvalued, especially if the leafs are trying to trade for one - the leafs must pay more, remember!

I don't actually disagree that Zadorovs and Tanev’s values are being over inflated. Justin Bourne said they were worth a 1st and Kyper said Calgary should ask for Knies. Yesterday they immediately walked it back saying Calgary should ask but Toronto shouldn't pay.

I do think Tanev could fetch a first in the right scenario but I've pointed out he's injury prone, you've pointed out his age, he's not a world beater, might end up taking considerably less in a fire sale.

Zadorovs awesome, love him, brings alot to the table. He’s our 5th best defenseman. It's very hard for me to see him fetching a 1st, maybe 50 percent retained?

As far as I'm concerned Liljegren is a reclamation project.

I think zadorov brings back a second half retained max and tanev should bring back a 1st and a 3rd half retained but klingberg a first and a 3rd for an unretained tanev gets done all day long

I think you are having a hard time distinguishing between people not liking the idea and just not liking you. Regarding the Klingberg part of your trade IT DOESN"T MAKE SENSE. Tanev is better than Zadorov, why would Calgary maximize value on Zadorov as opposed to Tanev with retention? The Flames should get a late 1st for Tanev @ 50%, make that the post and no one bats an eye, when you start saying things like "flip Klingberg" you lose everyone because that just doesn't happen. You also suggested that Klingberg got a couple prospects last year when he got a 33 year old German League player, so you can pretty quickly figure out why no one give you any credibility.
