Description

After reading numerous bad Draisaitl trades here I want to outline what we need and where he’s likely to sign.

The NY teams seem most likely to be a good fit where he’d sign long term. Boston would also be a good long term destination but I doubt they’d do that deal. Buffalo has a lot to offer but I doubt he’d extend there. The FL teams would have the hardest time making it work but I think he’d extend there too.

I think the isles deal is too much for him. Panthers likely won’t give up ekblad with their d issues.

Oilers only consider the Florida and Tampa trade every other trade is trash for Edmonton

Also I don't really understand how the Ranger trade fits Edmonton's needs (depth scoring, defense, and goaltending). We're attempting to make KK into a #1RW, to be determined if that will succeed or not. Cuylle is also looking top 6 caliber lately. I don't think Schneider helps you much at all. He will be a stud one day but seems to have regressed this year and is currently behind Fox and Trouba on the depth chart. I feel like you need a RD who is That Guy (Now). Dobson is a great example
