Honestly, both. Makes no sense for NYI, we have so many RD. Makes no sense for Vancouver, Hronek has had a huge impact. Value wise NYI probably is losing more but like both sides say no imo

I’d probably say Isles but it’s close. Plus you’d have to add a second to the Horvat side cause Hronek wasn’t a 1 for 1 with the first round pick

The Canucks say no. Hughes and Hronek have been one of the best D pair in the league so far.

Take out all the fluff and make it Horvat for Hronek. Canucks still win. A top pair RHD is worth a lot more than an 8.5 mil 2C. Love Horvat and happy he got his bag, but Hronek is much more valuable

The thing is we didn’t trade Hronek for Horvat. We traded him for beau, Raty, and a first, and if we did that trade again today i’d take Horvat
