Doubt either team would do that. Ottawa is so many years into the rebuild that they need to have some skill on the ice. Also, Ottawa is very close to the cap so I couldn't see them taking on a Goodrow dump.

Novak has blossomed into a great 2C for Nashville so I find it hard to believe they'd sell him off when they're trying to re-tool. Then again, they've made some questionable moves recently that has me questioning their direction (i.e. Duchene buyout)

you're massively underrating how unmovable Goodrow's contract is, and Tarasenko has been playing like he's worth at least a 1st again anyways

I'm aware of Goodrow being expensive to dump. Tarasenko has been good. It's just bad business and bad pr to pay for the same rental 2 years in a row.
