The Coyotes do NOT want to swap goalies, but that's some insane value. That'd be a huge EDM mistake

However, what a HUGE backstab on Vejmelka, who has saved our tails multiple times a season and still sticks around because he enjoys playing here.

If I were Armstrong, I decline. We're doing perfectly fine.

This would be a huge mistake for EDM but major props for making a "take my trash and give me good players" trade that actually reflects the cost of the players involved. I couldn't take another Campbell, Broberg, and a 1st for Juuse Saros trade

Sending Campbell was a huge mistake, imo. Before that they just had to convince someone else that he could/would bounce back. Edmonton could credibly say they just didn't have time to wait on him to round into form.
Sending him down showed they are actually done with him, and his play since is killing anyone's belief he will ever bounce back. No-one wants to throw away cash, even if they have the cap space.

Full marks for offering up quality. Someone like the Hawks should be after that kind of deal. They have cash and cap, and the infusion of youth for the blue line makes sense there. For me, Arizona passes. Too much cash over too long a term.

Delete Broberg and add 50% retained on Campbell and this becomes a very tempting deal.
