A larger sample size says that LA doesn't take on Allen without retention.

Kings have been prioritizing large framed goalies on budget contracts while they still are paying $2M until next season for moving Cal Petersen. The Kings have about $1.5-2M in space if they move Copley for a goaltender with Arvidsson returning.

Thomson being a RD + having better recent AHL results probably puts his value higher but I also don't think the Sens really care about him at this point so yeah

First one is fair, second makes no sense for the Habs, an AHL goalie and 3rd will easily get beaten for a good 1B goalie, it will take a 2nd or a package of Campbell + 1st + Bourgault for the Habs to move Allen
