Canucks decline. Management is high on Podkolzin, they aren’t trading him for a winger that we don’t need.

Vancouver easily passes.

Podkolzin is currently making $925,000 at worst you can only pay him the same. You can't pay a pending RFA less unless they're not qualified and become a UFA.

I'd have zero interest in Podz, he's too damn slow. I'd certainly love to have Jett Woo, though. However, I'm not ready to ditch Kap just yet and I'm not in favor of trading Bortz, either.

I'd happily take a 2nd for Vrana right now, seeing as how Chief refuses to play him with any offensive players. I'd like to see him out there for a test run with Thomas and Buch. However, I also think it's too soon to bail on the season.

I was big on Pod coming out of the draft, he’s shown some promise.
