He’s proven that he can produce with really good players built around him and Boston has those type of players he would also elevate the powerplay and is only making 5.125M

I have no doubt that he can, but right now they're still getting almost a ppg from their 2 best centers, and their D/goaltending is what is winning them games. Their powerplay is at 11th in the league so by no means bad and Edmonton's is actually 12th currently. It's a really delicate balance and I think moving Carlo screws it up more than bringing in RNH can fix it. Plus, I think there are other center options that don't require losing Carlo in the process, if that has to be during the offseason then so be it.

No one in Boston believes Drai or McDavid are going to be available. It seems like Oiler fans believe Boston should comply rather than look at their own strengths and decline
