Campbell is so bad - and his contract is even worse - that I don't think this is nearly enough compensation to take him off EDM's hands, even Raddysh and retention on Perry weren't included.

Yeah. I like Bourgault and Akey, but this is asking a lot from CHI when you add everything up.

I think it is quite fair deal - gives Oilers chance to save this season, but the costs will be 3 solid prospects (at least) + they will have 1 mil. of Campbell cap still in the books.
Besides Raddysh, there will be nothing much remaining for Oilers from this deal for future seasons, but they just can't write off this season with McD and Drai in their prime.
