It's tough to determine value in trades from a spectators standpoint. Teams value players differently. But this proposal is an intriguing one.

I don't think Pesce would waive for MTL but I could be wrong.
I also don't think there's enough going CAR way to entice them to make this deal. JKK is signed a t a reasonable deal, Their D gets weaker with this trade, and honestly Allen has very little value esp at his cap hit, esp with the extra year tacked on.

Canes will gladly trade pass. Montreal screwed up when they didn’t match the offer sheet, now they will have to live with that mistake.

Did Don Waddell continually smash his head into a brick wall 10 consecutive hours prior to making this deal?

I'd be willing to throw in a 25 1st towards KK. Get talks going between Monahan and Carolina on extension. Perhaps Anderson might be someone they'd be interested in. But ya it would be difficult to pry KK from them.

Perhaps a trade involving a goalie and Ryan Suzuki would be more suitable with Carolina. I'd rather that I think then Bourgault of Edmonton. Suzuki is a former first rounder and brother of Nick. Would be a dream trade if pulled off. As for Monahan he will certainly be high on Carolinas list come deadline.

KK would not survive his contract in montreal. he would be booed untill ref chriss lee penalizes, then has montreal forfeit

I like the idea of brining in suzuki, who dosnt like brothers on same team, so you can def start there

what makes you think montreal wants a 30 year old defenseman, they have SPARE younger, better ones in the wings.

carolina has all their picks and more, why not start there.

At that time KK didn't develop well and have a attitude problem which seem to have be break out of it by Coach Rob B's so it was a decent return for it right.

I don't think Montreal will want an 30 year old d-men even if he very good at defense. Montreal defense prospect pool have alot of body to fill the spot.

R.Suzuki could be an interesting part to acquire like the brother Xhekaj try to reunite the Suzuki brother could be a good storyline. By how both team act ( one buyer other seller) I would imagine an trade will be an veteran for playoff versus Suzuki + asset between both of them.
