Not while they're playing in Mullet. They can't host playoff games there.

AZ would jump on that CAL deal - cant see CAL going for it though
no reason to trade zuck for a 4th - rather play it out if he UFA so be it
bjug has been too valuable - PK, PP and only C over 23yo
i like hertl but that is a lot to give up for a 30yo w 7yrs x 8.137m left - AZ isnt team that does big contracts well into 30s
no way giving up ingram for a 21 G prospect
brown same as zuck prolly what hes worth by its not like AZ needs late picks

overall these are bad trades for AZ except CAL is bad for them

Kind of defeats the purpose of the build, got a hell of a team coming, picks galore, cap space for days. Should be peaking when they are finally able to find better barn. Ufas lining up to play with a youthful established nucleus. Don’t need rentals or overburdening contracts quite yet.

You can't really imagine those San Jose and Calgary "offers" are well received... right?

How is that a lot to give up for Hertl? It's really just Valiamki and two 2nds in terms of the value.

2x 2nd, valimaki, and 2 useful bottom 6 isnt a ton for hertl (solid player no doubt) but he is a 30yo 45-60 pt scorer on a 8.137m for 7 years (till 37), that contract at his age and giving up alot of depth pieces doesnt make any sense for AZ

I don't disagree that it doesn't make sense especially if they are getting Lindholm as well although that proposed trade isn't enough to land him and Hanifin.

id love to get both hanifin and lindholm - but that proposal has no chance, maybe add 1st and jenik - if CAL wants prospects and picks only

I think Hanifin is a possibility and wouldn't be a bad pick up depending on the cost. I think CGY wants a mix of things, they seem to be wanting to retool. So, probably a 1st + prospect that is close to being NHL ready or a young NHLer and maybe a couple of more picks. Guessing they want a return similar to the Hampus Lindholm one.
