Having Pearson return to kings to one last season and try to be competitive in playoff would be a good storyline for sure. But the question is if kings really need him ? I don't think he would cost alot ( return a lot) a late pick between 4 to 7 round depend on the team valuation of him.

With Lizotte injured right now the Kings need JAD and will likely keep him as a depth piece. Kings are getting Arvidsson back in February, so they already have a stronger offensive piece coming back around the deadline. The only player the Kings would be interested in from the Habs they just extended.
