Description

I feel like a lot of the vets have been the bad parts of this team this year, so what if we traded high at the deadline or the offseason if you don't want to tank to much at the end of the year.

I am projecting a top 3 pick and taking Eiserman.

RD and C are still huge needs I do think Oliver Moore will take a C role with us after one more college year and I think one or two more good years in the AHL from Drew will help him. RD needs to be a draft focus this year or next with extra 1sts unless we still feel really good about Allen or EDM playing RD in a top 4.

LIndholm can be a a C or Winger for us in the top 6 and will not be the big fish that everyone thinks Nylander or Drai will be.

We need patience for the plan to work. I know they are dreadful right now but it will be worth it on the long run.

Some of this is quite interesting. Signing Lafferty is a great idea. He fit in really well here, and played the type of hockey Coach Richardson wants. But I don't think they give up on Reichel yet. They tried him at center, now he's back on wing. As the team gets better and Reichel gets more experience, he should be a good 2nd line scorer.

Don't you think 3.3 mil is a bit high for vlasek? I really like him, but I thought 2.5 gets it done.

Can’t see Lindholm signing for that low on a four year term. I think someone gives him at least $8m per on a seven year deal, probably Columbus to reunite him with Gaudreau.

I don’t hate the Johnson/Reichel idea but I do think that is too steep a price to pay for Vladar.

It's far too early to give up on Reichel, it's his first full year, the linemate he has the most chemistry with has been injured basically all year, and he's only 21. Soderblom too, he's played great for a rookie starter with the horrific team in front of him. Vladar has been horrible too, much worse than Soderblom on a much better team. He's not even worth a 2nd, let alone Soderblom attached on top.
