Yzerman traded for Kostin for his toughness. Make Detroit harder to play against. He's provided that. WHY would he trade him?

This makes no sense for Chicago, LHD is literally the deepest position in their prospect pool; Vlasic, Korchinski, Kaiser, Del Mastro, Allan, Phillips, Roos; they don’t really have room for another team’s failed pick. They definitely are not trading Raddysh for another LHD prospect if all they get in addition is a 5th round pick. Up the pick to a 2nd round selection and perhaps the Hawks bite, otherwise the most you could hope for is the Hawks swapping one of their lower level LHD prospects for Broberg, like Roos one for one.

The value might be fine and Chicago should be open to trading Raddysh.

Unfortunately for Edmonton, Chicago should be satisfied with their young LD depth.

Raddysh as a 3rd line winger is more value to Chicago than another LD prospect.

Yzerman would have to replace him with a similar type player. Any ideas?

Then the team who trades that player can fantasize about trading to get him back on CFACGM everyday!
