It's a typical AHL player for player trade, with a great kick-in from TOR. I really doubt Hughes could get more for an AHL defenseman.

Did you reference Xhekaj as an AHL defenseman ?? Really ?

He may not be a superstar but he's very good for an young non experienced player in men league. Excellent on the physical play, don't have a big slap shot but good wrist shot able to put it on target ( on the goaltender). He's probably an 4 or 5 d-man on every NHL team. One of the reason he was send down was to recoup is game because thing got big real quickly for him and he may not be prepared for it to happen his fast. Also he's one of the d-man with the most minutes penalty right now so he need to understand to control is emotion.

The fact he play not many game and got injured twice from is gameplay style mean that he need to learn how to protect himself and keep being who's.
