I think canucks should really consider this.. blueger and Kessel both won cup with knights last year plus they both played with Laffy in Pittsburgh. I think that line would be deadly and loads of playoff experience

Myers is an interesting player..they could opt to keep him, though I really feel they will try and trade him. I do think there will be a handful of teams that could grab him..but I struggled with value..he could go for higher than a late draft pick..could be future considerations or they might find a team willing to offer a little more. Monahan I feel is a player the canucks would love to get a hold of..again value.. I dunno I would assume Montreal would ask for a 1st..but I don't know if he's worth a 1st..forsure a 2nd..but where nucks don't have a 24' 2nd rounder..i added a prospect..doesnt have to be sasson per say..but a B level would be enough I think to get it done.

I mean at this point the leafs need dmen..if they don't end up with either 1 of bear or Tanev..then I think Myers could be an option. Even a team like the Devils could likely use Myers for depth. I'm sure there will be a few teams looking for a tall dmen come playoffs

Cause canucks also have to look at it from a business pov..hes a ufa that more than likely will not be back with the canucks..its called asset management and if the canucks can get some kind of return..which I believe he's still worth something..then you do it.. it was the same thing with motte..and schenn last year...get what you can to help the team in other areas...makes sense to me

Canucks aren't trading Myers. He made a big mistake in the game against the Devils and Canuck fans are jumping down his throat about it. This has been by far his best season in Vancouver now that he's finally able to play Top-4 minutes and isn't being relied on as the #2.

Whatever value the Canucks would get back wouldn't be worth it, because they'd have to pay more to replace what Myers brings. I honestly want Vancouver to re-sign him in the offseason, I think he'd be fantastic for about 3M, realistically it's around 4M.

Except they weren’t making the playoffs last year so yeah it made sense. In this scenario it doesn’t - Canucks would make the playoffs but they’ll trade Myers anyway because teams need / want tall dmen for playoffs. Dude is trading him & upgrading d because Myers is garbage. If you can’t see hypocrisy in that position then 🤷🏻
