I think Burnaby Joe has some more moves up his sleeve and that's why he was moved.

Even if it means recouping some assets. Johansson could have a turn around playing for his home town team and the canucks could recoup more assets possibly next year by trading him. If canucks claimed him I would be happy. They don't gamble/throw the future away by going after Guentzel. Lindholm doesn't seem to fit tochs system, and if he was just a rental then get something back for him, Boston needs a legitimate center and lindholm fits that.

Why. He's still putting up some points, still under contract for 1 more year. Local guy. Could get him for nothing. He has playoff experience and is a good veteran to have on your team. It's a win win in my opinion

Still think to much. I would rather carrier anyways if the canucks wanted one of the preds Dmen

Jesus fabro ain't worth anything close to that. More like a 2nd round and one of Mcward or Johansson.

Never get either lindholm or hronek for that. Both will be $7.5 to $8M per season over 6 to 7 yr deals

My predictions
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Terrifiedofeveryone</b></div><div>Pettersson is not going to be signed for less than $12.5 mil/year on a 7-year deal. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $13-14 mil aav.</div></div>
As much as I love petey..he is not worth more than the William Nylander contract. There is no way that he signs for anything above 12, especially you saying less than 12.5. Nate mackinnon is signed for 12.6 and is a hell or a lot better than petey, he's arguably one of the top 3 players in the league. Petey is nowhere near that..im figuring its gonna be either a short term deal again, in the range of 2 to 3 years at an AAV of around 9 to 10 M per..or if he decides he wants to sign long term, then it'll be more comparable to the Nylander deal. If we wants more than 12, then I think they look to trade him. Miller is playing better and more the style the canucks want, and they also have lindholm now, who I think would be open to resign in van and would likely come in around the 8 to 9 M mark.

Truly some of the shadiest logic I’ve ever seen on this site 😂😂😂</div></div>
Cause canucks also have to look at it from a business pov..hes a ufa that more than likely will not be back with the canucks..its called asset management and if the canucks can get some kind of return..which I believe he's still worth something..then you do it.. it was the same thing with motte..and schenn last year...get what you can to help the team in other areas...makes sense to me

I mean at this point the leafs need dmen..if they don't end up with either 1 of bear or Tanev..then I think Myers could be an option. Even a team like the Devils could likely use Myers for depth. I'm sure there will be a few teams looking for a tall dmen come playoffs

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Vancity2196</b></div><div>I meant value off. I could be wrong 😑</div></div>
Myers is an interesting player..they could opt to keep him, though I really feel they will try and trade him. I do think there will be a handful of teams that could grab him..but I struggled with value..he could go for higher than a late draft pick..could be future considerations or they might find a team willing to offer a little more. Monahan I feel is a player the canucks would love to get a hold of..again value.. I dunno I would assume Montreal would ask for a 1st..but I don't know if he's worth a 1st..forsure a 2nd..but where nucks don't have a 24' 2nd rounder..i added a prospect..doesnt have to be sasson per say..but a B level would be enough I think to get it done.

I think canucks should really consider this.. blueger and Kessel both won cup with knights last year plus they both played with Laffy in Pittsburgh. I think that line would be deadly and loads of playoff experience

Why on God's green earth would the canucks make that trade with the Islanders. It would give the canucks hardly nothing in a return, aside from a 2nd and Salo. Would hardly gain any cap space from it either.. no thanks

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Britishbulldog</b></div><div>I hear you. I guess IMO Murray's "Away" games have shown him as a solid goalie with slight struggles in the "Home" games. I have actually been pleasantly surprised by his play this season after watching him in Ottawa which were horrible.
The 2 questions Leaf fans (and I guess hockey fans in general) had were 1) could Murray show himself as a solid goalie again...which I believe he has... and 2) could he remain healthy...which I believe he has answered that question too...unfortunately.</div></div>
I guess to it depends if Toronto feels comfortable with the two goalies now, and keep murray as insurance, or If they would rather the cap space for other adds and keep woll as the backup.

I definitely would think that would and should be enough to land chychrun, Arizona has him valued far to high, or he would have allready been traded..its been drug out for over a year, time to move on, no other team rumored to be in on chychrun has a top 5 pick to offer for starters, hoglander is past the prospect stage and ready to be a full time player and has shown a lot of promise and he should be allready full time but canucks don't know how to manage there players, and Rathbone and McDonough are gonna be good players, Rathbone again should be playing in nhl full time, but canucks never give him enough chances.

That's kinda what I was trying to point out, yes I know Myers isn't great, but apparently they are looking for size, and maybe Myers finds his game again a little in a new system, but Toronto getting out from murray, might be worth it, plus I had the connection with Murray and canucks management again, maybe they still believe in Murray?
