Canes pass. olofsson has little value even with retain. Add in he wouldn’t be on the ice for us so it would be a wasted trade

Benson is literally one of their better forwards right now as sad as that might be. He has virtually nothing to gain from going back to beat up competition he could out skate in his sleep.

Ok, that’s fairly accurate
But we really have built a solid base to have a good team for a while
We’ve had a bunch of injuries this year & are finally getting healthy. It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out

As far as Benson goes, idk how much he has to gain by playing in the WHL this season? But i don’t think it would hurt him either

Buffalo has such a solid base I would be surprised if they don't turn it around

It just barely ever goes well for 18 year olds in the NHL that aren't named McDavid, Matthews, or Bedard. Take Sillinger, Slafkovsky, and Kotkaniemi for example, none of those guys should've been playing at 18.

none of those guys are nearly as good as benson is right now lol That's why he's still here. Kulich has like 16 goals in the AHL already and the Sabres haven't called him. Theyre clearly not inclined to rush prospects and if you asked anyone who has watched him for more than 5 minutes theyll tell you he definitely belongs.
