If the Canucks add it will likely be low cost periphery players. Not the majority you have in your list. Sam Carrick for example. Feisty, 30 year old center who's a UFA. Big stuff will likely go down in the summer.

Canucks are higher in the standings, have a better points %, have more goals for (total and per game), have a lower goals against (total and per game), allow fewer shots per game, and have a similar power play (25.5% to 25.9%). The Canucks have a much better goalie, a better defense, and similar level forwards to the Leafs

The Leafs PK is 3% better, that’s about all they have on the Canucks right now

Leafs pass on that just don’t like the extra years that’s why I chose lafferty if we decide to do other things with out money then let him walk just don’t want to be tied down to a contract for multiple years
