Yeah COL is interested in Jenner but you aren’t getting a Kings bounty for him, take out Girard our all of the draft picks.

No thanks on Kuznetsov. Laines floor when healthy is Kuzs ceiling. Idk if he’s a good fit for the jackets but that’s just bad trade value. Texier is only 24 and fits the timeline. He can be a solid middle 6 guy. It’s not good to have a roster full of only really young guys during a rebuild.

Really, DAL and CGY are the only trades I'd see working here. I could see a Laine move down the line at some point; but, I dont see Kuzy as a fit for this team.

Boone is, frankly, our best overall F right now, and we need his experience. JG isn't getting traded after his big signing, and I still have hope for Tex.

So basically you're valuing Jenner at somewhere around 2 firsts 2 seconds and a third? Hmmm, easy no for the Avs at that price. Make the price reasonable and the Avs could definitely be interested.

So, Jenner will absolutely get a kings ransom. His skill set is very hard to find and he is signed for 2 more years at a very affordable price. He will create a bidding war if available. But none of these trades overall give the Jackets the right value.

If that's the case, Colorado says godspeed and we hope you find what you're looking for somewhere else.

If that's the case you can keep him. I think you might be disappointed at the return if he was made available.

He absolutely will not, or did you miss the part where he has ZERO 50pt seasons, you’re acting like he is a 60-80pt player and he is no where close to that.

Learn hockey. Impact goes far beyond points. Boone Jenner is the type of guy that all GM’s covet. Covet is not even a strong enough word. They lust for him.

Learn hockey lol. Guys get paid to produce points, guys have value in trades if they produce. Guys don’t get traded for the equivalent of multiple 1st rd picks because they are good in the room.

It’s not even about the room. Guys produce on the ice when their team has the puck and when they have space to make plays. Jenner is a guy who makes all of his teammates better with the space he creates from his compete level and forechecking. He also is one of the best faceoffs and net front guys in the league, and an elite penalty killer. His cap hit also gives him tremendous value.

EDM has two of the best point producers in the league, and how’s that working out for them? It’s not all about points. You need a well rounded team in order to win. There are not a lot of guys like Jenner in the league. Every GM would love to have him.

LOL, and how is it going for CBJ with Jenner making all of his teammates better? Like you’re making the argument for me, the most valuable thing in the NHL is guys that produce points because it’s the hardest thing to do, it’s why they get paid the most money, it’s why they have the highest trade value. Who cares if he kills penalties if you paid the equivalent of 2 1st rd picks 2 2nd rd picks and a 3rd you want that guy driving play producing points, do you actually think that any NHL team is paying that price for a guy to kill penalties?

You mean believe facts? You think a guy with zero 50pt seasons is worth 2 1st 2nds and a 3rd (or equivalent) which is more than VGK paid for Eichel (granted he was injured) but points talk and bull**** walks so hit the bricks pal.

Wow. Big man here…Why do you have to be a colossal jerk? Two things can be true. The point being made is a player like Jenner is a difference maker in the playoffs. I can bet you a whole lot of money that if Edm could fit Jenner under their cap, they would give up anyone not named Draisaitl, McDavid, Hyman, or Nugent-Hopkins. In fact, I would argue Tor would seriously consider a straight up trade of Jenner for Nylander. That is how important a guy like Jenner can be to a true playoff contender.

That would be delusional to think TML would consider a Nylander for Jenner straight swap, and colossal jerk for expressing my opinion that Jenner isn’t worth a kings ransom and using facts to back my opinion? Tell me oh great police officer of cap friendly what is the single most valuable skill in the NHL, hint it’s a rhetorical question. You and your compadre have seem to lost sight of my original stance that wasn’t Jenner isn’t good or valuable it’s that he isn’t going to fetch the equivalent of 2 1st rd picks, 2 2nd rd picks, and a 3rd pick. But no I express my opinion, not even replying to a comment, and I’m told I’m wrong that Jenner is worth a quote Kings Ransom end quote and I dispute that with facts about his scoring and facts about what teams pay for. But go ahead drinking that kool aid and tell us more about how a nice middle 6 guy is going to be swapped for arguably one of the 25-35 best players in the world. 😳🙄

You still don’t get it. The market is dictated based on need, supply and demand. In this case, Jenner is possibly the best player available (if he indeed is made available). The amount of teams wanting a guy like him is practically endless. Try to understand that more suitors means the price goes up.

You don’t get it, Jennner is never betting a Nylander. It has been a decidedly buyers market on top of that, but go ahead and tell me how a guy with zero 50pt seasons nets a guy on pace for a 115pt season🙄🤦🏻‍♂️
