well Ryan Shea got put on waivers today so doubt he's coming back.

I don't see any difference with this team.

Zohorna has no business in the NHL

Cap also going to be a bit over $87M so you're leaving money there.

Pits need to sell. If Crosby and Malkin agree to waive. And if they decide to retain 50% on Karlsson. Pits could get ALOT and set themselves up very nicely for the future.

The core aren’t going anywhere. That’s what I can basically guarantee you. Geno had his chance to walk away but it was clear Sid wanted him and Tanger back. They’re 90% likely to all retire here. The best player for us to trade is Jake. He is in the right place in his career to be dealt and get us some futures back. I could see MP going too while his value is still good.

Sid Geno and Tanger go no where, they want to finish their careers together. If the team really turns south they still get to play together, help build the next group. They've had more success together than 99% of NHL players ever will have. They stay.

Not to mention people who act like they'd garnish a huge return at this stage of their careers are crazy. Crosby for sure still gets a 1st in his deal, not sure about the others. Would need to be retention on part of the penguins.

The only way Sid ever goes anywhere is if he requests it himself and I doubt it happens. If by some chance Montreal is a cup contender circa 2026 and he wants to finish with his fav team from his childhood that’s the only way I see him asking to leave.

I will not tolerate Zohorna slander haha.

In all seriousness though - he's definitely NHL caliber. Even if it is 4th line. He's proven himself worthy of that at least. Especially if it's for basically league min

Act your age, not your shoe size.
Just stop. This is insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

100% agree, he had a nice few games but when 5'9" Puusty plays with more grit than 6'7" Zohorna......it's time to get rid of Big-Z

I'm hoping at some point Dubas says "sorry I need to bring in guys who can score'' and just forces Sullivan to work with them. Eller hopefully can cover for them and they can add one of them as 5th piece on the PP, and play higher event hockey on the 3rd line

Well now I'm just confused haha - because you said you agree but then disagreed.

I'm not sure I agree on the grit part - but Puustinen obviously has played well. I think he deserves a spot, as most people do. I just think Zohorna has also proven himself worthy of a spot as well - even if it's on the 4th line.
