Generally against trading away Knight but that's quite the offer. Obviously can't see a GM retaining on three players in one deal but I'd have to think Florida accepts that. Would make Florida pretty crazy come playoff time...

If the Devils cannot get a certified goalie; do not think it is worth for rolling the dice rather just keep Vanecek/ Schmid/ Daws.

This doesn’t make sense for either team.

Why would Florida undersell on Knight for guys they don’t need and don’t fit into their team? Miller is of no use, he’d be a 7th defenceman. Toffoli might fit but could come a lot cheaper. And Vanecek is just an expensive 3rd goalie for them. Theres nothing of significance for Florida to be giving up their goalie of the future - they still believe in him and aren’t shopping him at all.

For New Jersey - why would you put your cup hopes in a guy that’s playing AHL minutes right now? The Devils are trying to compete to win, not develop guys for the future. They need a proven, reliable goalie that they know what they’re getting. Knight isn’t that yet and there’s no point in throwing him into a fire and watching him burn

Brendan Smith was horrific per usual and as always managed to drag down Luke too. Every devils fan says this but miller should be back next game.
Bahl isn't good enough to handle the tough assignments marino gets. Hence why I've wanted pettersson.
