Description
Let's see if the newly acquired players fit. Looks like if avs did that trade. They would have to shed at least another 5 million just to make it happen.

Reason for the trade.
Saros and Georgiev get different sceneries.
Fabbro fills a void on defense.
Orielly fills that 2nd line center spot for 4 years to come.
Trenin is a gritty forward and upgrade over olofsson.

Can I ask why it would be horrible?

You are essentially getting Georgiev and a 1st,4th for saros
3 prospects for orielly. Meyers was suppose to be in there.
And girard for fabbro.

Well, for starters, Nashville is very much using all those players right now. I also doubt they wish to trade such high impact players (on affordable deals, no less) to a division rival. Then, of course, the offer in insufficient. You want one of the top goalies in the league, one of the top leaders in the league and a good RD, and have not offered a single prime asset in return. Plus, you deferred the 1st. Meanwhile, Girard is in substance treatment, so you cannot trade him.

Basically all the reasons.

This roster is for next season.

The trade that happens is suppose to happen at the 2024 trade deadline.

Girard isn't in the abuse program anymore. He's with the team skating.

My previous AGM I did this mock trade and wanted to see if it would work going into this season

Okay, well my bad on the timing of the AGM. And yes, Girard apparently just walked out of treatment yesterday. The rest stands. You want their moon, but only give things you want to get rid of. Nothing in that offer hurts to give.
