The difference between Brodie and Tanev if there is one, isn't a first. Leafs didn't want 3 years of Schenn, why would they want him now?

He played well with Reilly and is a physical presence which the leafs lack. Also id rather have Schenn for 3 years at 2.7 then Klingberg lol

Well Klingberg doesn't affect the Leafs cap this year or ever. Why do fans have this fascination with the 25th place Flames fourth best Dman? Benoit is physical but no team is giving up a first for him.

He played well with Rielly in the 2nd round and had some decent moments when carried by Rielly who was next level but blowing up for a small sample size is dumb. That's why he got the deal he got from Nashville to begin with. Schenn is a 7/8 defenceman who can be successful when the refs put away the whistles in the playoffs and he can clutch and grab with the best of them. He's bad in the regular season. At his cap, he's negative value.
