Why is Vancouver offering like 6~ first rounders for that return?

If you trade the best player in the trade, you often lose the trade.

Larkin and Seider don't equal Petey, Wallinder, Brzustewicz, and a 1st.

You don't trade 2 top RHD prospects, a top 20~ pick and a top 10 center for 2 players who aren't even in the top 15 I'd argue for their position.

Detroit is third in scoring 2 goals behind Colorado and six behind Vancouver. Both Colorado and Vancouver are play teams and Detroit isn't. So why would the trade one of the best RHDs in the league. Detroit is scoring just fine without Petterson. Yes Petterson is a top 10 center but Seider is a top 5 RHD and he's only 22. Now Petterson is more valuable than Larkin but Seider is a lot closer to Petterson's value than you think.

Seider isn't a top 5 D right now, don't be absurd. I'm not even sure I'd trade Willander for Seider 1 for 1, despite the raw difference in valuation between them right now

Pointless arguing with someone who never thinks they are never wrong.
