Rangers have no incentive to make that deal and every incentive to win with Laf

Is that all the picks you want to get for the players listed in the Anaheim trade? Because you can get more then that for all of them separately. If it's what you think each one is worth then wow

1. Not anywhere near enough to consider trading Matheson
2. Value is possibly close, but NY decline
3. Not really much to comment about

I think it would be a good return for these players, traded to any team. What do you think is the price for a player like Lafreniere, Snuggerud, McGroarty, Kulich, Holtz, Mercer, Lundell ? These are the kind of player I think Hugues has to look for.

That way to much to pay for Lafreniere. Both of these first round pick a way to much valuable to be included in a trade unless we get a top players. Lafreniere is not there and might never reach that level. Our best chance at getting this high end offensive talent is with those next three first round pick.

I think you get one of those players by drafting in the top 10 this year.

Monahan = 2nd and a prospect or late 1st
Savard = same as above
Kovy = 3rd or highest pick possible
Evans - late pick
Dvorak - let his contract run out

A lot of value for Laf here. Feel NYR only move him for a better “known” package AKA players they can plug in right away like Slaf or Guhle.
