Eichel’s value got lowered because of his serious injury . Not a single piece is as good as Tuch here either

the NYR and FLA deals are horrendously bad for OTT, Kappo is a bust and has little to no value.

Knight is a expensive bust that no one would even claim if he was on waivers.

Kuzmenko was repeatedly scratched this season

a Brady deal starts with the teams best prospect a 1st+++\

the only deal thats close is CAR IF Pesce comes with a reasonable long term extention

Fair deal from CAR would be
        1st
        Pesce with extension agreement,
        Necas or Jarvis
one of CAR top prospect, no untouchables

Unfortunately I think that’s a little too much.

        More likely :
        Pesce OR Necas
        A top prospect

nope, CGY would have gotten more if they could have traded him to any team but they were handcuffed because there were only a specific few teams mathew would sign long term, OTT does not have that problem thus bidding war. the first would have little value as it would be between 25-32. and OTT does not have to trade Brady, he has 4 years left, CGY had no choice

I think the Canes should do that honestly. I dont think they re-sign Pesce anyway, and Necas might need a change of scenery and the opportunity to play center somewhere. Would be a good fit for what the canes lack come playoff time. We know Brady isnt getting pushed around and the money is about even.

        what are Ottawa' farm needs?

We could do Pesce extended, Necas, and a B prospect or the 2 NHLers with a pick swap. Like our 1st for your 2nd

or we could go completely baller and do

Pesce extended, Necas, our 1st, Morrow, and a B prospect (kiovunen, gunler, Lucius, etc)

        for Chabot and Tkachuk

Brady is a worse version of his brother so he gets a lower return... Brady is 32+ goal scorer at his peak while Matthew is a 40+ goal scorer

Brady is a 35+ goal 80+ pt player for me. On a team like Carolina where’s he’s not stuck in the defensive zone the whole shift he could probably get more

Him being bad defensively lowers what teams are going to pay for him.

It doesn't matter that you blame it on the system. That system has lowered his trade value. If you change the system or the team and he shows good defensive results then it will go up.

But to ottawa fans its everyones elses fault for every player.

Who are tkachuk's linemates? Norris Giroux Stutzle and Batherson are who he plays with. Are they they problem defensively?

Or is the problem Chychrun Chabot Sanderson and Zub?

Which of these guys are tanking the defensive results so much?

The bust will only get better with time and has value. I guess you missed Gabe!?

rofl, 5 years in the NHL, 3 mediocre years playing on the top 2 lines, then has a good year with 44 points than complete collapse this year with 3 points in 20 games before his injury, if yakupov is considered a bust, Kappo is a bust.

NYR would be hard pressed to get a 3rd for him

That's not how it works with most big kids, he'll have a good career and has value. Thanks for your concern though.

I’d estimate Kakko’s value similar to Newhook trade, maybe a touch lower but idk
