That might be the right value for Lindholm, but idk man. Feel like that's too much for a rental. The Sundquist and ducks trade seem pointless to me. And if we're flipping ryjo, we're not getting an actual player back, much less burying him.

Malinski is not getting traded. He is the only nhl capable rhd prospect we have. I like Clurman, but still proving himself in the AHL.
Edit: I get the tdl, sell off hype around Lindholm but, we need to be honest about his production and ufa status.

Obviously wouldn't want to trade Malinski but if that's what it takes to get done I'd be fine with it. I based the package on the Horvat deal last year, and obviously Lindholm isn't having as great a year and is a UFA but the Avs can't waste this MacKinnon season, and everybody knows 2C is the glaring issue, go fix it with the best option available. All the other trades are tinkering

Intentionally short sighted. You only get so many more kicks at the can, and every year going forward it will be more difficult, everyone is a year older, Mikko's contract, then Cale's contract, you're in the heart of your window- you don't worry about Sam Malinski. Just like we don't worry about Justin Barron anymore

Simek is expiring after this season and is useful in the AHL right now. Why would they dump him just to get back another dump with 1.5 mil higher cap hit and an extra year?

- The west is kind of weak compares to the previous 10 years. Next year could be more easy than this. Nothing suggests it will get harder.
- Big difference in Malinski and Barron. Barron made his short comings and lack of iq clear to f.o and they moved him (for an rfa). Malisnki while still a work in progress, has shown way more that Barron has on both sides of the puck.
- It was "first" cup or bust, they dont have that same stress where they'll completely empty their rhd prosepct pool again.
- Mack could have another monster season, same with Mikko and Makar, theyre in their primes and not exiting it anytime soon.
- Mikko needs a new deal next summer, moving G or Manson is the best way to make cap space for this. Moving Malinski is a horrible idea because we will need cheap dmen who play the avs style perfectly.
- Makar's next deal is in '27-'28, I aint stressing that.
-Malinski is not untouchable but it would hve to make more sense than this.

Blues decline. Oskar is more valuable to us than a 5th round pick. I wouldn't be surprised if he was signed to a cheap extension
