More deadline turnover

Description
The Buch trade (or not) is a tough decision but I lean toward moving him and building the future. Could get a lot more for him this deadline than next. Idk how the Jets value those guys so feedback is welcome. I know they have a ton of NHL-ready D and the Blues D could use some... refreshing. I figured Salomonsson and picks for Buch, then Heinola to dump Schmidt.

The rest of our deadline assets - should we take the sellers route - are netting late round picks, but nitpicking is welcome ;)

This roster should land us in the bottom 10, great time to pick up a quality prospect, take some gambles with the extra picks (25-ish and 40-ish from the WPG trade) and keep building up.

Extreme overpay by Winnipeg for a left shot winger they don't really need.

The Jets have no reason to pay to dump Schmidt.

No chance the Jets move Salomonsson in this deal.

A first and two seconds (Salomonsson) seems pretty reasonable for Buchnevich to me…

Strongly dislike that return on Buchnevich. We'd be better off keeping him for the season and trying to extend him.

Think you meant a 6th for blais

1 goal and 6 assists does not = 4th

How is Scandella defensively this season? Been debating adding him in ACGMs since he might cost effective post UFA but need to know more about him

I can't lie to you chief Scandella is a pretty lousy hockey player, but he's been passable lately as the stay-at-home guy with Perunovich playing most pucks. He seems like a good guy and someone that an NHL GM would add at the deadline for a late pick as an insurance policy.
