Still do it if I take out a 2nd? Just seeing how badly I overpaid if at all

My asking price on Chabot is a 1st and two 2nds.

Because that's what we paid for Chychrun.

I still do it if you take out Jensen + Johnson + Milano.

Winnipeg is a better team without Dylan Strome.
Edmonton doesn’t need another goalie just because Skinner is doing well, and I would rather have them keep the first round pick.

As a Jets fan…I’m intrigued
Not saying yes… but not saying no
I confess I haven’t kept up with him since he left CHI and need to research him some first before I decide. I know he was a name being brought up by a lot of fans when he was in CHI, before the PLD trade, but not sure how he’s fared since…

On the pluses
- his cap hit is well within our target zone
- he comes with term but no trade protection
- his age and size fit our core and our needs perfectly
- he’s putting up good offensive numbers

On the minuses
- injury history, to be precise… 2 concussions since 2019

What is his defensive game like?
Whats his play style like?
Would you accept anything less than a 1st or is that set in stone?

He’s putting up solid numbers while being stapled to Ocechkin who has drastically decreased in skill. Playing w better wingers would logically increase in his current stats

No we definitely do, the 1st won't do us much good at all and Skinner isn't consistent after a 4-6 game stretch.

A trade for a goalie is 100% needed.

I'm not sold on Strome as a 2C as it doesn't look like he's much of a 5 on 5 producer with his ice time. I don't think I'd want the Jets to spend a 1st on him as he's doesn't look like an improvement on Namestnikov and has a long expensive contract.

I think the Jets say no at that price.

I think the Leafs trade is reasonable, well done on that trade at least. I also think the Leafs should accept this, as he'd be a great partner for Rielly IMO.

The 2025 1st from Washington in this trade is unprotected and unconditional.

It could be pretty high.

Strome is 26 and is producing at a 55 point pace with literally no good to great posters on his line. 5m is cheap for a player of his caliber

Oilers trade is an absolute no brainer

You should probably watch more Strome. He’s a fantastic 2c and 5m is cheap for a player of his caliber

He’s a solid 200 foot player. Seems like a fantastic locker room guy and has been scoring a good amount of goals while having no good to great players on his wing. 5m is cheap I today market for a 2c that is adult can fill in as a 1c in a pinch
