That's an insane cost for Monahan. His 5v5 production is right in line with Eller. He has had a ridiculous season on the power play and even though ours needs a boost he wont be brought in to play PP1. I like Zetterlund, but not at the cost of DOC +. Need to focus on LD too. POJ is having a rough season and Shea/Ludvig are not full time NHL'ers.

I think it would be catastrophic to trade the 2025 1st. Even if we buy at deadline I wouldn't trade more than the 2nd tbh

Monahan's the big difference-maker here, but I'm not a fan of the other aquisitions. Zetterlund and DOC have the same points/60 at 1.4, and I think DOC is better defensively. Parker Kelly's only notable contribution is his physicality. Not a bad thing to have, but I'm not convinced he brings anything else to the table. I'd still like to bring in a better 3rd pairing option as well. I'd prefer Ruhwedel as a 6/7th D, and the same criticism of Kelly applies to Ludvig: thanks for the physicality, but I'm looking for more than just that.
