Switch Reimer to Lyon. Or the 3rd to FC your choice

Lazy comment for a few reasons
1. He chose Detroit and they have since faltered.
2. Trading for him at the deadline is more cap effective.
3. A lot of teams were scared of Kane's ability to play post surgery. It looks like he is healthy and has played well.

No deal. Lyon may have a future in Detroit.

He has a full NMC which means he’ll be choosing his destination again if moved and the return will be limited.

I realize that. Does he want to stay in Detroit as a pending UFA or play in the playoffs? If the answer is the later then expect a nice return for him. No doubt in my mind they get at least a first unless he play deteriorates.

That’s what Chicago thought too

His cap hit is even lower this year than last year even with retention.... This is not the same. If he plays like this up to the deadline the return will be equal to a first.

Vancouver has way more than its fair share of bottom 6 wingers, we don't need another one. We'll take Jeff Petry for that though. Maybe even throw in a low level prospect.

Probably need to lower the returns for all of these trades or add retention

Flyers are rebuilding they aren't trading a 2024 1st for a player they paid to give away and an aging vet. In addition Zumala has been really good lately and they are not giving him up in this package.

Flyers aren't going to be trading picks regardless of how they are doing, GM has made it clear they are still rebuilding

they really don't need to, they aren't cap strapped and having that big of a contract means they have a goalie who will basically pass through waivers guarantied, trading a first to get rid of a contract that only has a year left isn't needed

Gotcha. TBH I looked for a playoff team who needed PP help and Philly really stood out.
